The main objective of vHack Revolutions is to increase your level and climb each rank to become the top hacker of all time! To do this you will need to upgrade various pieces of software.
The first type of currency is called cash or money. The main way to get money is to open the network application, select a target and exploit them. After this, go to the main screen by pressing home at the bottom of the screen, then you need to go to the Terminal Application. You will be able to transfer a trojan or to bruteforce their bank account. Whenever you upgrade any of your software, some of your money will get removed by the system.
This is the main currency in the game. It is used to buy booster packs, change your IP address, and upgrade your internet connection. You can get vTCs on the Win Wheel, by doing missions under the "Resources" application, by opening packages, or by searching for vouchers in logs. You can also get vTCs by purchasing from the shop.
Boosters are used in upgrading apps, to upgrade instantly. You can buy boosters using vTCs from the shop. You can also get them from the boosters miner, by doing missions, and from packages.
Every player is assigned with an IP address upon registration. If anybody finds out a player's IP, they will be able to exploit the account, and transfer a trojan, or bruteforce the owner's bank account. An IP address can be acquired from the network application, from another players logs, or can be shared via the messenger application. You are able to change your IP address in the shop application. IP addresses are left in the log file when a trojan or bruteforce has been used. You can hide your IP by upgrading IP spoofing above your opponents firewall level.
Your internet connection determines the speed of your upgrades. The better your connection's quality is, the less time your software takes to update. You can improve your internet connection by going to the settings application.
The ping is your real time ping with the game's server. The higher your ping is, the more time your commands take to get received or executed by the game server.
Your account level is displayed on the middle-top part of the main screen. If you tap on your level, you will be able to see the amount of experience you need in order to get to the next level. Additionally as you gain experience, the yellow experience bar (the circle around your level) gets filled up.
If you are a VIP user, your VIP tier is displayed on the top part of the main screen. You become VIP by purchasing vTC packs in the shop application. The perks of purchasing VIP is displayed in the Shop application aswell as in the VIP Club application. Further explanation is available under the VIP Club section of this tutorial.
In order to increase your account level, you will need to gain experience. By upgrading your software in the upgrades application you will increase your experience level.
On the top of your main screen, you can find the game settings which allows you to configure the game for yourself per your preference. You will also find an invite link to our discord server amongst many other options in the settings. The top panel also contains information about your money / cash balance, available boosters, vTc and the current tier of your VIP subscription. Below the top panel is the global chat section. It will show the last message sent to the global chat. Tap on the message and the chat overlay will open.
This status bar is located under the global chat section. It is where your username, network/internet connection, level experience, IP address and ping are displayed.
This part is in the middle of screen, where all of your applications' icons are. To open an application, just simply tap on one of them. You can swipe left to view a second screen of applications.
The bottom panel contains some other applications, namely News, Win Wheel, Rank, Packages and Get vTC. "Get vTCs" is a folder which houses the Shop and FREE vTCs/TapJoy (unavailable on iOS devices) apps. Under those applications you are able to find the current version of the game and a home button. If there is an update availabe, the version number will get replaced with a short message, indicating that a newer version is available in the Play Store and you should update the game to gain access to aditional features.

The application which allows you to browse the network, is simply called the Network app. Located on the top-left part of the application bar, it provides 10 random targets at once and you can refresh the list by scanning every target, or by reopening the application. Each dot represents a user in the network. To scan a target, just tap on one of them. After scanning, you can exploit your target, but chose wisely, because your exploits are limited. The maximum amount for non-VIP players is 30 and increases up to 250 according to your VIP tier. You can generate 1 exploit every 5 minutes.
In the Upgrades application, you are able to upgrade your softwares by two ways. With the regular upgrade system, you simply double tap to purchase an upgrade bundle, and either wait for the upgrades to finish or finish instantly with boosters. You can also upgrade using background upgrades, which generate over time and stack for 8hrs or until it reaches the max. You can assign these background upgrades to any app. Background upgrades can be used to remove exploits on your device (by upgrading FW) and to change your bank password (by upgrading BP).
The Terminal is where the most part of attacks happen. If you open the app, you will be able to see your list of exploited targets. If you click on any player, you are presented with four options: TR. Transfer, Get Log File, Bruteforce, and Upload Spyware. Clicking on TR. Transfer will attempt to steal a portion of their money so long as your SDK and Malware Kit is sufficient to beat their Antivirus. You can generate a new trojan every 5 minutes. Get Log File will display their logs, showing attacks, vouchers, or ASCII messages. You will also see an option to edit their log, which will take 5 seconds so long as your SDK and Malware Kit is sufficient to pass their Antivirus. At the right corner is the Bruteforce button. Clicking this will attempt to crack the password of your target's bank. The higher your bruteforce, the less time it will take to crack, with a minimum wait time of 2 minutes. You can also choose to crack instantly by playing the Bruteforce game - you are to guess the right code, but think carefully because you only have 4 tries. Upon successfully passing the Bruteforce game, you have a 40% chance of receiving 100-250 packages. The last option which is located at the bottom is the Upload Spyware button. Simply double tap to upload a spyware on your target, so long as your Malware Kit is sufficient to pass their Antivirus. To remove a target from your terminal, long press on their name. Below your list of targets is the Close All button to remove all active connections, and the Active Spyware button which shows a list of targets you have Spyware on.

Antivirus (AV) is an app that primarily defends your account against trojan (TR. Transfer) attacks. It also protects you from spyware uploads. Having a high antivirus will help prevent people from deleting your terminal log. Most attacks that antivirus defends against utilize a combination of the Malware Kit and SDK apps.
Firewall (FW) is a defensive app and your first line of defense against attack by other players. A high firewall will help keep you anonymous in the network by preventing other players from scanning you. Furthermore it acts as a defense against being exploited by an opponent. Firewall defends against the scan, SDK and IP spoofing apps. Furthermore, when you upgrade your firewall any open connections to your device are closed.
Bank Protection (BP) is another defensive app and acts as the last line of defense for your bank account; and by extension your money. A high bank protection will help delay or potentially stop bruteforce attacks on your banking app. Bank Protection directly defends against the bruteforce app. Furthermore, upgrading Bank Protection will change your card's password, locking out any direct access from bank cards.
Software Development Kit (SDK) is the first of several offensive apps that are used to attack other players. SDK is primarily used when exploiting another player's firewall in the network. It's also used, in conjunction with Malware Kit, to help increase the chance of successfully deleting another player's terminal log. Furthermore it plays a role, again in conjunction with the Malware Kit, to increase the chances of a successful Trojan Transfer attack.
Malware Kit (MWK) is an offensive app that primarily aids SDK on increasing the success rate of trojan attacks. It also plays a large role on the chances of success for terminal log deletion. Most attacks that utilize Malware Kit are defended by antivirus.
Bruteforce (BF) is another offensive app that is primarily used to directly attack another player's bank. A successful bruteforce attack will require time to complete, the higher your bruteforce is the less time it will take to penetrate your opponents bank protection(Minimum of 2mins). Once a bruteforce attack is successful, you will have access to that player's bank card in your banking app.
Spam is a passive app whose sole purpose is to generate income every 10 minutes. The mechanic is simple: the higher your Spam is the more money you get.
IP Spoofing (IPSP) is another passive app that is primarily used when attacking other players. A high IP Spoofing will hide your IP and allow you to remain unknown in your opponent's terminal and bank logs when hacking or stealing from them. IP Spoofing can fail if your opponent's firewall is too high, so always be careful if you want to be anonymous.
Scan is an important offensive app that allows you to detect other players in the network. At a minimum strength a successful scan will show you another player's IP address and firewall level. However if it's high enough you can uncover many other details such as their username, player level and the levels of all their defensive apps. Scan is directly countered by an opponent's firewall.
The Global chat is a good place to meet other players, to introduce yourself and to have some fun with others. It has it's own rules displayed at the top. Breaking these rules will result in a temporary ban, depending on the amount of times you have been banned before. If you ever get banned, you will not be able to send messages in public or crew chats, or edit logs until the ban expires. If you try to send a message while you are still banned, you will see the time remaining.
If your phone's language is set to German, Portuguese, or Spanish you will have access to your language's local channel next to #English.
The top 5 supporters of the game have their own special chat colours.
We are currently not recruiting new moderators, but there will be a public annoucement if we are ever searching.
